The 1987 Cameron Aggies football team was an American football team that represented Cameron University and won the national championship during the 1987 NAIA Division I football season. In their fourth season under head coach Brian Naber , the Aggies compiled an 11–2 record.
In 1987, Cameron defeated Carson–Newman (Tenn.) 30–2 to win the NAIA Division I Football National Championship. [3] Cameron had previously won a national championship as a junior college in 1961 as well, but the university discontinued football on December 11, 1992.

Leroy Montgomery (March 1, 1928 – October 26, 1993) was an American gridiron football coach, scout, and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at Cameron State Agricultural College—now known as Cameron University—in Lawton, Oklahoma from 1955 to 1963 and Dodge City Community College in Dodge City, Kansas from 1965 to 1966.
