Velocities in the 2200-2600 range with 35-40 gr bullets. Basically a 22 Hornet, though not quite as accurate. (1" 100 yard groups) I live in the Peoples Republic of California, so the pistols chambered in this round are verboten. I used WW296 for the loads I worked up.

The ".22 micro mag" or .22TCM has a common "parent" case, the .223Rem or 5.56. The .22 Hornet has no parent case, it was a created cartridge in it's own right, not based on, or dedicated to any existing cartridge's dimensions. Armscor manufactures their double stacked 1911 A-2 chambered in .22TCM that also comes with a 9mm practice barrel.

The shorter TCMs for the Glock Conversion are called 22 TCM 9r or just "TCM 9r" it's the same round just pushed slightly further down into the shell so that they clear a 9mm magazine. I think they are at 1800 FPS vs 2000 but that's not that significant of a change.

I have both the rifle and the pistol. I have had no trouble with either,I've had both over a year. The rifle will shoot into a inch at 50yards,the pistol will shoot better than I can hold it. I also bought a 1000 rds ammo to start with. The pistol will make a good house gun, accurate and loud with a big fireball.

The .22 TCM far exceeds the performance of the .22 WMR, making this a much better choice for use as a varminter! You'd get more velocity out of the rifle than you would the pistol, 2800 fps on average! I have a .22 TCM and it's a nice gun except when I shoot it the safety sometimes engages itself.

I was trying to find/ buy the Armscor 22 TCm rifle to convert to a 9mm last year. A company in Reno, NV was doing the conversions. But I got nowhere with it. Several phone calls and emails led nowhere. I ended up buying a JR Carbine 9mm, which is an awesome carbine on ALL counts.

Actually Armscor has a bolt rifle in 22 TCM and a custom gun shop in Missouri is getting ready to release a semi auto rifle in TCM. Neat little cartridge, I'm betting it will be here to stay since Armscor is now the world largest maker of 1911's.

for a .22 TCM cartridge. I never heard of it but it looks awesome. "The .22 TCM is a funky cartridge. It’s designed from a necked down piece of 9mm Parabellum brass to take a .223 caliber bullet (the same bullet used in 5.56x45mm NATO rifles) and fire from a handgun. We first saw this caliber at SHOT, but now it seems that Rock Island Armory ...

22 tcm I just bought one of these and its my new favorite pistol to shoot. Makes a loud bang and fireball but a very light recoil similar to a .22. You can rapid fire a magazine load and put them all in the 9 ring of a silhouette target. Impressive velocity, I shot an empty beer can and it punched clean holes through it without even denting the ...

I had one of the RIA, Armscor 1911 commander models. In the TCM 22/9mm. The 22 TCM bullet out of the 4.25" barrel, clocked out at 1915fps over my chrony for a 10 shot average. The gun was 100% reliable with good accuracy. It was a "blast" (pun intended) to shoot.
