Nuuk Centrum is a district of Nuuk, the capital of Greenland. [1] Together with the Old Nuuk neighborhood, it encompasses the southern and central part of the town. Most of the institutions and businesses are based in the district.
The district was established in the late 1970s, [3] and has rapidly expanded since then, becoming the most populated neighborhood home to the majority of apartment buildings in the city and approximately 6.000 people. [3] After Qinngorput, it is the newest district of Nuuk, expanding northwards towards the airport.
