The wife recently said she feels like I don’t love her. I do and I don’t I guess. I am annoyed by her, very annoyed. She nags me, she nags our kid. At least that is how I feel. And I feel like I am a constant disappointment to her because I can’t give her what she wants from the relationship. She is very guarded and standoffish these days.

Which it's not. That mindset is a huge reason why I stay single. If I got into a relationship and the guy decided to give me crap about the multitude of male friends and acquaintances in my social circle, including 3 ex-bf's, that is a conversation that would not end well.... for him, anyway.

I don't think everyone willingly takes this on. In some situations, one partner may cut back his/her hours or stop working all together once they feel the other person can carry the financial load. And finances can change, so the lower earning partner when the relationship begins might be the higher earning partner at the end of that relationship.

A lot of people fall into the sunk cost fallacy with relationships. They've already devoted time and effort to this relationship, so it maybe might possibly pay off faster (even though it won't) than leaving and having to start over from scratch.

I think the holidays are a good way to see what the new relationship is all about. No, do not discuss it. If you want to buy a gift, buy it. If the other person doesn't reciprocate, then that might be a red flag. Christmas is supposed to be about giving from the heart. It's not necessary to spend a lot. It's the thought that counts.

But let's say girl A has a body count of 250, but 246 of those encounters happened in high school and college and maybe a couple years after so let's just say between the ages of 14 and 24, and for the last 20 years she's only been with three people, a 10-year marriage, one rebound guy that she hooked up with maybe three times, and a 9-year ...

As for finding a relationship, stick with the online dating, but do go out and try to find other ways to meet women. I prefer meeting in-person myself. 09-07-2016, 07:52 AM
