The Brigham City Museum of Art & History, also known as the BCMG or, formerly, the Brigham City Museum-Gallery, is an art museum and history museum in Brigham City, Utah. The museum is a department of Brigham City Corporation (i.e., the City), but also has a non-profit foundation, the Box Elder Museum Foundation, Inc.
Leeds Museums & Galleries began life as the museum of the Leeds Philosophical and Literary Society, which opened in 1821. In 1921, the collection was purchased by Leeds Corporation, to continue as a municipal museum (Leeds City Museum). [7] In 1928, Abbey House Museum was purchased by the Leeds Corporation, as place to display social history.

In 2001, Leeds City Council bid for National Lottery cash, and in 2004, it was awarded £19.5 million, [4] so in 2005, the Leeds Mechanics' Institute building (designed by Cuthbert Brodrick and built 1865–1868) [5] began to be redesigned as Leeds City Museum, finally to reopen in 2008.
The former hotel is located at 35 South Main Street (Utah State Route 13). It was built as a two-story, brick and adobe hotel around 1903, and was expanded by addition of a third story in 1914. The hotel has a red brick front facade and third-story side walls, the lower side walls are adobe. It was further modified in 1923 and in 1934. [2]
Hotel Brigham is a historic three-story hotel building in Brigham City, Utah. It was built in 1914 by George Burnham for James Knudson, a Mormon businessman, and his wife Amelia. [ 2 ] It was designed in the Chicago school style by architects Francis Charles Woods and Julius A. Smith , [ 3 ] and expanded ten years later, in 1924. [ 2 ]
