Hello DocCottle, I downloaded the drivers for Windows 8.1 for the HP LaserJet 1020 printer onto my HP laptop, which is connected to the Internet and running on Windows 7. I then burned the drivers onto a DVD disc and put the disc into the Compaq/HP which is not connected to the Internet and running on Windows 8.1.
