The 21⁄2 -story wood- framed main house was built in the Gothic Revival style in the late 1850s. The plantation historic district includes six other contributing buildings, in addition to the main house.

The United States Post Office in Fairhope, Alabama, is a historic United States Post Office building built in 1932, in the Italian Renaissance Revival architectural style.
