Jackson County is located in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population of the county was 160,366 as of the 2020 Census . [ 2 ] Its seat of government is the city of Jackson . [ 3 ]
I-94 leads east 24 miles (39 km) to Ann Arbor and west 10 miles (16 km) to Jackson, the local county seat. Grass Lake is a water body in the center of the township, and the land primarily drains west as part of the Grand River watershed.
