Calamus Swamp is a 19-acre (0.077 km 2) public preserve located 1.5 miles (2.4 km) from Circleville in Pickaway County, Ohio, United States. It has a natural kettle lake/wetland and is owned by the Columbus Audubon, the local chapter of Audubon .
With more than fifty acres of leatherleaf bog, it is the largest of its kind in the state of Ohio. Within the nature preserve is a five acre kettle lake bog that features tamarack, poison sumac, cranberries, northern purple pitcher plant, round-leaved sundew and sphagnum. It is located in southern Summit County near the city of Green, Ohio.
Brown's Lake Bog is a dedicated Ohio state nature preserve owned by The Nature Conservancy. It is one of the few remaining kettle peatlands in the U.S. state of Ohio.
