David Richard Thorpe, MBE, FRHistS (12 March 1943 [1] –2 February 2023) [2] was a British historian and biographer of three Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom during the mid-20th century; Sir Anthony Eden, Sir Alec Douglas-Home and Harold Macmillan.
