We had signs up since March. We started closing in July. People are still pissed. It kinda sucks though. We were already getting lunch breaks, just rotating out, but now we only get like 25 minutes at most and come back to 80 leaflets on the counter and a line of pissed off patients. 3. technically-a-tech.

But our pharmacy started the half hour lunch about a month ago. It seems lately I've been seeing customers waiting around pharmacy early for when they come back at 2pm. Jeez people give them a break so they can open up. I just feel bad for them having eyes looking at them like they been waiting forever. Archived post.

Apr 2, 2019. #1. Walked into work today and my store manager informed me that Walgreens is implementing a 30 minute lunch break for pharmacists chain-wide. Not just select stores/“pilot stores”. They are still in the process of thinking about the logistics and how it will be implemented but the company is following through with this .

This statutorily (at least in Ohio) has been interpreted by the board of pharmacy as "in the store".

  10. Pharmacy hours : r/WalgreensStores - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/WalgreensStores/comments/zba6yq/pharmacy_hours

We are currently 9-9 and open weekends. But since we went back up, we lost staff and now struggle to have enough staffing to fill each day during all the time we are open to run properly. We honestly did so much better having less hour open because we don't have people to work those ours.

  11. Just received email about CVS pharmacy closing for lunch... -...

    www.reddit.com/r/CVS/comments/pcsuj7/just_received_email_about_cvs_pharmacy...

Hourly employees have always clocked out for lunch so doesn’t change anything for them. Not that CVS wouldn’t do differently, but at WAG if your shift is from 9-4 for example, so you’re closed 1:30-2pm for your lunch break, you are still given 7 hours to count towards your salary mandated schedule.
