When it is turned on, it goes through its usual routine and then goes into STANDBY as usual. However, when AUTO is pressed (to engage autopilot at the current heading), the unit starts turning the wheel to ...
I have an old Raytheon R20X radar, after warming up process it will start for 2 seconds and the array starts to rotate, but after this 2 second, there will be message "Bearing pulse error"!? I have understood, that this might be caused by damaged Bearing pulse generator or damaged Ship's heading marker switch?

This was a stop-gap between their old PPI marine radars (such as the venerable Model 3100, which I used for years....damn that thing drew about 20 amps ...

I've been in the process of upgrading electronics and now this fully funcitonal radar system is up for grabs. The display is a Pathfinder RL9 Part M92558. The radome is a Raytheon Part M92559, 18" 2kw. Together they are part M92557.

I have a perfectly functional Raytheon Pathfinder RL70 Radar with a monochrome display at the nav station. I'd like to add a second display at the helm, which it looks like I can get pretty inexpensively on Ebay.
Re: RayMarine (Autohelm) ST7000 autopilot, worth reviving? Yes in general the actuator will transfer to newer units or different manufactures. The st 7000 is not a bad pilot. So it might be worth trying to save it. __________________. Interested in smart boat technology, networking and all things tech.
Ben, both units are obsolete. The company changed to Raymarine years ago and just got bought by FLIR in the last week or so. I had a RL70 and upgraded to a MFD with digital radome. High contrast color is much better than the old dark grey/light grey LCD. You might get lucky but every time a new generation comes out they change everything.

SGC makes a tuner they claim works with any radio. I haven't used the SGC tuner but it has good reports from other users. SG-230 Smartuner.
Raymarine/Raytheon WIRED remote Z101. I'm looking to replace a Raytheon Z101 remote control for a ST2000+ tiller pilot. The remote got fried by lightening, the autopilot is fine. Raymarine no longer offers a wired remote. I'm not enamored with having another transmitter aboard, and another gadget to keep charged up.
