Shure M75. by thorenstd125_2022. The M75ED is a lovely, easy sounding cartridge. Excellent tracking ability. A little bass-heavy and lacking in sparkle, but it wasn't a particularly expensive cartridge in its day. Very popular choice in the 1970s. by rorenoren.

The Shure Aonic 4 is packed with so much variety of ear tips – Shure calls them “sleeves”. From the standard silicone (grey) to black conforming foam and even a triple-flange silicon as well as Shure’s iconic yellow foam. As I mentioned in the Aonic 5 review, the ear tips play a very important role in altering the audio balancing.

The original M92 stylus (N92E) is not great, though. It sounds a little closed in with rolled off treble. Distortions are very low, even with the N92. As the M92 has no plastic surround, any stylus for the V shaped cartridges with the same size brass insert can be fitted. The M92 has the same wide soundstage that the M95/97 have.

    www.head-fi.org/showcase/shure-se846-sound-isolating%E2%84%A2-earphone.16329/...

Bass- The shure se846 has a "subwoofer" bass to it which is extremely unique and can dig EXTREMELY deep, but the detail of the bass is "alright", a little definition would be nicer. Compared to the ie800 which also has deep bass. The shures out perform them because of the depth and subwoofer like feeling.

  6. Shure M97 Cartridge Reviews - The Vinyl Engine

    www.vinylengine.com/cartridge_reviews.php?make=Shure&model=M97

Shure M97. by Nene. The M97xe had always been my second string cart because I considered it to be not as warm and relaxing as a Nagaoka MP110, while less involving than a V15 III or a Ultra 500 and not as rock & roll as a M44.. Average at everything. However, I recently put a Jico 192-N97xE (SAS/S) stylus on it and my opinion has significantly ...

Performance is surprisingly good, and the simple mounting bracket is ideal. A very competitive cartridge - plays well with anything. by djohnfot. The M91E is not the best cartridge by any means. It may, however, be the best value of its era and is still capable of besting many newer and more costly cartridges.

  9. Shure M95 Cartridge Reviews - The Vinyl Engine

    www.vinylengine.com/cartridge_reviews.php?make=Shure&model=M95

Shure M95. This is an excellent cartridge, assumed the diamond tip and the suspension is in a good condition and it is mounted in a LOW-MASS tonearm, period. A medium to high mass tonearm reliably ruins the show. The same applies to the M75, both in ED (EDM) versions. There are almost unrecognizable differences in sound of the M95 and M75 ED ...
