The Mary Hardin–Baylor Crusaders football team represents the University of Mary Hardin–Baylor in college football in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the NCAA Division III level. The Crusaders are members of the American Southwest Conference (ASC), fielding its team in the ASC since 1998.
Mary Hardin–Baylor beat Trinity (TX) in the first round, Birmingham–Southern in the second round, Linfield in the quarterfinals, and Wisconsin–Whitewater in the semifinals before playing in the 2021 Stagg Bowl where they played North Central (IL) and won 57–24 to secure the school's second-overall and first-non vacated title.
Mary Hardin–Baylor, the defending national champions, were the top-ranked team to begin the season. The season's playoffs were played between November 19 and December 16, culminating in the national championship—also known as the Stagg Bowl—at the Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland .
Mary Hardin-Baylor rallied with 24 unanswered points in the final 14 minutes of the game and scored a 41-28 victory over Bethel in the NCAA Division III quarterfinals on Saturday in Belton, Texas.
