The Big Four Tournament was an annual college basketball tournament played from 1971 to 1981 in Greensboro, North Carolina. [1] The field consisted of the " Big Four " North Carolina Atlantic Coast Conference schools: NC State Wolfpack , Duke Blue Devils , North Carolina Tar Heels , and Wake Forest Demon Deacons .
The Big Four's dominance is also high when only three of the Big Four have competed in the same tournament. Of 49 events where this has occurred, they have won 43 of them (87.8%). Since 2008, they have won 32 of 37 tournaments (86.5%). Only 14 players have recorded at least 1 victory over each member of the Big Four.

The Ball Dawgs Classic (formerly the Vegas 4) is a college basketball showcase event played in Henderson, Nevada during the week of Thanksgiving. Following the creation of the men's basketball event in 2022, a women's event was added in 2023.
For sponsorship purposes, the tournament is officially named Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis. The games are played in the Imperial Arena, a grand ballroom which is turned into a basketball venue. [1] The tournament is known for being the richest Division I men's early-season college basketball tournament.
