Teenage Kicks formed in early 2010 and began performing by the summer of the same year in support of their first 7" release, which featured the songs "Shook Our Bones" and "I Get What You Give". The original lineup was rounded out by the addition of Cameron Brunt on drums and Patrick Marchent on guitar. [3]

Koo was born on August 3, 1994, in Seoul, South Korea. [5] [6] He played soccer growing up and won a regional kicking competition in South Korea. [7]He moved to the United States when he was 12 years old to live with his mother, who had gone to New Jersey two years earlier to work as a nurse while Koo's father remained in Seoul as a professor at Induk University.

Kix (stylized as KIX) was an American glam metal and hard rock band formed in 1976, that achieved popularity during the 1980s. The band's classic lineup consisted of guitarists Ronnie "10/10" Younkins and Brian "Damage" Forsythe, bassist Donnie Purnell and frontman Steve Whiteman and drummer Jimmy "Chocolate" Chalfant.
