The creek itself is a 12.6-mile-long creek that originates near the Everett Mall and flows southward through Snohomish County and northern King County. The North Creek community is located along the southern portion of North Creek, just north of the creek's mouth at the Sammamish River in Bothell. [5]
The North Creek Trail is a regional multipurpose trail that runs from Bothell to Mill Creek in Washington state. Portions of the trail are still being developed. [ 1 ] The trail's southern terminus connects with the Sammamish River Trail at the UW Bothell and Cascadia College campus.
State Route 527 (SR 527, also known as the Bothell–Everett Highway) is a state highway in Snohomish County, Washington. It travels 9 miles (14 km) from north to south, connecting the northern Seattle suburbs of Bothell , Mill Creek , and Everett .
The town of Mill Creek was designed in the 1970s without a downtown, and the Mill Creek Town Center was created to give the town a commercial and social core. After the town adopted a comprehensive plan in 1992, citizens came together to develop plans for a town center, and construction began 10 years later. [3] [4] The complex opened in 2004.
Little Bear Creek joins the Sammamish at this western turning point from the north. The river continues to bend in a generally westward direction, where it is joined from the north by North Creek in Bothell near the University of Washington, and Swamp Creek in Kenmore. The Sammamish River enters Lake Washington on the west side of Kenmore.
