Bearspaw is rural area in southern Alberta, Canada in Rocky View County. It has a population of 5,567 (2018). [1] The original inhabitants of the Bearspaw area were the Niitsitapi or Blackfoot nation. [2] The Blackfoot nation consisted of four different tribes, Siksika, Piegan Blackfeet, Piikani Nation and Kaninai (Blood Indians). [3]
