Archer High School is a public high school near Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States. It is operated by Gwinnett County Public Schools. It is named after Gwinnett County teacher and coach Benjamin Vernon Archer. [2] The school officially opened on Monday, August 10, 2009, with enrollment topping 1,200 students.
The school is part of the Gwinnett County Public Schools system and opened in 1984. It serves students in the Shiloh Cluster, which feeds from the Anderson Livsey, Annistown, Centerville, Partee, and Shiloh Elementary Schools and Shiloh Middle School. The school mascot is the General, and the school colors are black, silver, and white.
In the 2005-2006 school year, Crews "outperformed every middle school in the Gwinnett County Public Schools system in 14 of the 15 areas measured in the state's Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests," and was the only school in the district to achieve a 100 percent passing rate.
