Playing career 1982–1984 James Carlton Brown (born March 1, 1960) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman who played in three games with the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL) in the 1982–83 season .
In his professional career, Brown carried the ball 2,359 times for 12,312 rushing yards and 106 touchdowns, which were all records when he retired.
