The National Football League awards its Thursday Night Football package to CBS, which will produce 16 Thursday and Saturday night games in 2014 (with a league option for 2015). Eight early-season games will air on CBS and be simulcast on NFL Network (which has carried the package since 2006), while NFLN will air eight late-season games exclusively.
