The resulting debut album The Electric Light Orchestra was released in December 1971. Only the trio of Wood, Lynne and Bevan played on all songs, with Bill Hunt supplying the French Horn parts and Steve Woolam playing violin.

Jeff Lynne and Richard Tandy were the only band members returning from the original incarnation of ELO. All songs played on tour, except "Rock 'n' Roll Is King" and "All She Wanted", were released on either the Electric Light Orchestra Live album [3] or the Zoom Tour Live VHS/DVD. [4]
