Rumah Warisan Haji Su (English translation: Haji Su Heritage House) is a complex of two traditional Malay houses located in mukim Losong, two kilometres from downtown Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu. The houses were owned by Haji Su Mohammed Salleh, which he inherited from his family.
Terengganu has eight administrative districts (), each assigned their own district-level flags. [4] All eight of the flags consist of only a single coloured field with the state flag on the canton; the only distinction is the colour of the field, which corresponds to respectable districts and represents their qualities: [4] [5]
It is located at Kampung Ladang, Kuala Terengganu. Construction of the mosque began in 1981 and the mosque was completed in 1984. The mosque was officially opened in September 1984 by the late Sultan of Terengganu Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah. The new Royal Mausoleum is a short distance from the mosque. [1]
On 12 February 1987, the Terengganu officially wrote to the administration of the National Museum, seeking permission to relocate the Inscribed Stone to their State Museum. Only in 1991, the Federal Cabinet granted approval to the request and the Inscribed Stone was returned to Terengganu. It is now displayed at the Terengganu State Museum. [12]
Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Abdul Hamid was born in Telemong, Terengganu. He was respected and loved by Malay society. [citation needed] Prior to the British arrival, Terengganu had Islam-based rules and administrations. The society freely opened up their land for farming and collecting crops.
