King James Version was released in the United States and Canada on September 12, 2000. Alongside the album, a self-titled EP containing three B-sides from the King James Version sessions was sold with purchases of the album exclusively at Circuit City stores, limited to 3,000 copies.
The Troublemakers is a graphic novel by American cartoonist Gilbert Hernandez, published in 2009. It is one of a number of stand-alone graphic novels featuring Hernandez's character Fritz acting in stories inspired by pulp fiction and exploitation movies. King James is a heavy metal supergroup formed in 1993 with guitarist Rex Carroll and frontman Jimi Bennett (Sacred Fire). Some time later, they recruited Tim Gaines and Robert Sweet of Stryper, and released their first album in 1994. The band supported the album with a tour without Gaines, who declined to join after the recording.
