223 posts · Joined 2021. #1 · Oct 7, 2021. I came across this map update thru link on On Star Website. It's for 2019-20 Cadillacs and on sale (see receipt). I ordered and received it today. Popped out NAV SD located in armrest storage area and inserted the 2021 SD Car. It prompted if installed it will work only in this car.
3587 posts · Joined 2012. #17 · May 12, 2023. I heard there was an update from the dealer for the android auto. You may need to call around to see if they are educated in this field. You should go to the dealer and talk to the programmer or parts guy. I would also find out if you have 2.0 or 2.5.

It’s messed up when they sell you a Escalade and can’t update the maps after 2015. Then they tell you the maps are discontinued meaning your car is old. The 2020 Escalade not old or even a 2018. I feel they should sell maps 10 years after the last year of the model. I found a solution for you though.
The Cadillac Navigation Store is the exclusive retailer for Cadillac CT6 map updates. gmnavdisc.navigation.com Problem is they no longer carry the USB update which is what the 2016 - 2018 models need.
