The elaboration likelihood model (ELM) of persuasion [1] is a dual process theory describing the change of attitudes. The ELM was developed by Richard E. Petty and John Cacioppo in 1980. [ 2 ] The model aims to explain different ways of processing stimuli, why they are used, and their outcomes on attitude change.
[2] [3] It is currently the largest collection of linear motif classes with annotated and experimentally validated linear motif instances. Linear motifs are specified as patterns using regular expression rules. These expressions are used in the ELM prediction pipeline which detects putative motif instances in protein sequences.
Student assignments can help improve Wikipedia, but they can also cause the encyclopedia more harm than good when not directed properly. Volunteer editors are sometimes left with a mess and the burden of fixing poor-quality edits, cleaning up or reverting original research, merging content forks, and deleting articles.
Extreme learning machines are feedforward neural networks for classification, regression, clustering, sparse approximation, compression and feature learning with a single layer or multiple layers of hidden nodes, where the parameters of hidden nodes (not just the weights connecting inputs to hidden nodes) need to be tuned.
Area code 945 was selected as the fourth area code in the Dallas overlay, after receiving approval from the Public Utility Commission of Texas. [2] Central office code assignments for NPA 945 have been available since January 15, 2021, [ 3 ] but can only be requested after all existing area codes are exhausted. [ 4 ]
Ulmus americana, generally known as the American elm or, less commonly, as the white elm or water elm, [a] is a species of elm native to eastern North America. The trees can live for several hundred years. It is a very hardy species that can withstand low winter temperatures, but it is affected by Dutch elm disease.
Quebec [a] is one of the thirteen provinces and territories of Canada. It is the largest province by area [b] with an area of 1.5 million square kilometres (0.58 million square miles) and more than 12,000 km (7,500 mi) of borders, [13] [14] in North America, Quebec is located in Central Canada.
An alternative solution to overcome these problems within the framework of (classical) prospect theory has been suggested as well. [ 27 ] The reference point in the prospect theory inverse s-shaped graph also could lead to limitations due to it possibly being discontinuous at that point and having a geometric violation.
