PAWS San Diego was founded in 1993 in Northern San Diego County, as "P.A.W.S. North County". The founder operated the organization out of her own home, and used her own car to deliver the ideals of P.A.W.S. to San Diegans. [6] In 1997, P.A.W.S. Grace is the daughter of Collen Loberg, who played volleyball for Indiana University Bloomington from 1988 to 1991. She graduated from Geneva Community High School in 2017, [ 1 ] after which she attended the University of Wisconsin Madison from 2017 to 2021, where she studied to be a child-life specialist.
