Leon George Thomas III (born August 1, 1993) [1] is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. After early roles in Broadway and providing the singing voice of Tyrone on the Nick Jr. animated series The Backyardigans (2006–2008), he played Andre Harris on the Nickelodeon series Victorious (2010–2013), for which he received an NAACP Image Award nomination.
The show, now fully animated and renamed The Backyardigans, was greenlit for a full season of 20 episodes. [11] Reflecting on the shift to animation, Burgess said, "Sometimes your first attempt is just not all that great. In this case, my second attempt was much better." [7] The Backyardigans premiered on Nickelodeon on October 11, 2004.
The song is set to a bossa nova style. [1] [2] It is sung by a group of children, which makes unclear what some of the notes sung are. [3]The lyrics are fairly simple and talk about the group of friends being castaways (per the title), lost with no way to go back home.

Jonah Bobo (born January 24, 1997 [1]) is an American musician and former child actor.He is best known for his roles as Danny Budwing in the 2005 film Zathura: A Space Adventure, Robbie Weaver in the 2011 film Crazy, Stupid, Love, and the voice of Austin the Kangaroo on Nickelodeon's animated television series The Backyardigans.
He starred as Chip in the Broadway musical Beauty and the Beast before starring as a boy in Fiddler on the Roof.In 2004, he landed on two voice roles in children's television — Spencer Piggle in Whoopi's Littleburg and as the singing voice of Pablo on The Backyardigans, both which aired on the Nick Jr. programming block.
