The answer given by Apple Support to the previous thread by this name wasn’t clear on how to get after-hours stock prices. Tap on the stock to display its chart, then tap on 1D to display prices for the day. This will show the after-hours price in the upper-right corner, as was previously the default for all of the chart timeframes.

What I meant when I said stock app icon is one of the apps that comes with the phone (not the ones you choose and download from the App Store), it’s one of those that’s missing. There is a blank spot right next to the settings icon and I don’t remember which one was there.

The stocks app is no longer updating the prices or the increase/decrease percentage of the stock. I realised it’s only happening on stocks I had prior to this issue occurring because when I add new stocks, these update just fine. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it, checked for updates, restarted my phone with no luck.
