   We had an assortment of end tables, book cases and library desks in various wood finishes. I discovered that spraying them black and adding a coat or two of polyurethane made them useable again. They look great and fade into the background making spaces appear larger. One of my renters is talented with a spray can and I am good with a brush.

   When a toilet refills it can reduce pressure elsewhere. Not much usually, too little flow. I believe @OldFeller and @Chet are probably right, that is what usually causes the trickling sound in a toilet. And I suppose it is possible that when one toilet refills it could effect the flow into the other, and the trickling sound maybe.

   Only when I have gone camping and they actually had those showers you put in the quarters for hot water. The bath houses were also equipped with sinks that had ice cold water to brush teeth and wash hands. The toilets were not flushing toilets just pits that I suppose a sanitation company came and took care of every so often.
