Ke Huy Quan (/ ˌ k iː h w iː ˈ k w ɑː n / KEE-hwee-KWAHN; [4] Vietnamese: Quan Kế Huy; [3] [a] born August 20, 1971 [5] [6]), also known as Jonathan Ke Quan, is an American actor.As a child actor, Quan rose to fame playing Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) and Data in The Goonies (1985).
In "The Goonies," one of his earliest acting credits, a 13-year-old Quan portrayed the crafty Data who helps his friends locate a hidden pirate treasure and save their neighborhood from foreclosure.
