Ojuju is a 2014 Nigerian zombie thriller film, written and directed by C.J. Obasi. The film which has a zero-budget , stars Gabriel Afolayan , Omowunmi Dada, and Kelechi Udegbe. It premiered at the 4th Africa International Film Festival , where it won the award for "Best Nigerian Movie".
Remarkably, Ojuju is a zero budget movie. His second film, O-Town, was released in 2015 to even more critical acclaim. A crime thriller, O-Town, also written by Obasi, tells the tale of a small town mired in crime. O-Town was inspired by Owerri, the place where Obasi was born.
Wale's SWAT team is deployed and blocks their escape, killing most of the Ojuju Boys. One of them, Izra (OC Ukeje) betrays his fellow gang members, and escapes with the stolen money. Akin's lover and only female member of the gang, Goldie (Toni Tones) gets killed in their attempt to escape.
