Ruger American Torque Specs. The manual says to tighten the action screws "snug" from 60-80 inch pounds. When I got the rifle brand new, the action screws came out with just a healthy grunt and turn of a regular screwdriver handle. I cleaned and put the rifle back together and using a Wheeler torque wrench/screwdriver drove the action screws ...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 1- are the bolts interchangeable with any other manufacturers (Wilson combat, etc) or is it proprietary to Ruger only. 2- is it necessary or better to change out the cocking piece to ...

Bought it because of the affordable price and was pleasantly surprised with the unexpected accuracy. If you are uncertain about the Gen 2 rifles ...

The provided magazine 7.62x51 are too big (the round rolls in there and mis feeds), and 223 are too small to even load.

It turns out they are in high demand and it appears Ruger is having a hard time keeping up. The retail price is up to $549 and many of these rifles are selling for more than that on the auction ...

Just called Ruger customer service and it turns out that there is a kit to convert a Ruger American Predator rifle with the rotary mag to the AI style mag. It only cost me $19 + shipping to get it too. The conversion will only work if you have one of the green stocks with the removable mag section like in the pic.

  8. Project: Ruger American Ranch in 300 Blackout - Ruger Forum

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/project-ruger-american-ranch-in-300-blackout.399763

It's a Silencerco Omega 300 cerakoted in Flat Dark Earth. I'm still waiting for it to get out of BATF jail. So I decided to build a rifle for it. I found a Ruger American Ranch in 300 Blackout with an AR magazine at a local big box. The barrel is threaded so I went home and did my homework. From everything I read it seemed like a good starting ...

Ruger American Ranch "Compact" 7.62x39. I bought one of Ruger's compact American stocks from shop ruger.com and it fits perfectly on the new American ranch 7.62x39 rifle. The stock is all black and has the same recoil pad as the original, only difference is a 12.5 LOP and is perfect if you want a nice compact rifle.

  10. Ruger American Ranch 350 Legend Stock Question

    www.rugerforum.net/threads/ruger-american-ranch-350-legend-stock-question.405087

Hello everyone, So I have a Ruger American Ranch in 350 legend. I plan on giving this to my son for his first deer rifle this year but the stock is the standard size with a LOP of 13.75” I believe. I’m looking for the compact stock which has a 12.5” LOP. I’m not having much luck finding anything and Ruger seems to always be out of stock.

Don't know why it wouldn't adjust down to 3 lbs. but it would not. Still getting 1/2-5/8" groups @ 100 yds. with this little gun with federal american eagle fmj ammo.
