Doraemon: Nobita Drifts in the Universe [2] (ドラえもん のび太の宇宙漂流記, Doraemon: Nobita no Uchū Hyōryūki) is the 1999 Japanese animated epic space opera film. It is the second Doraemon film released after Hiroshi Fujimoto 's departure, based on the 19 volume of the same name of the Doraemon Long Stories series.
Nobisuke Nobi Jr. (野比ノビスケ, Nobi Nobisuke) is Nobita and Shizuka's son, named after Nobita's father. Though being as stupid as his father, he is a strong child and a good athlete, and brave enough to bully Gian and Suneo's sons (possibly as retaliation for all of his father's suffering from their dads).

As Shizuka cries over Doraemon, Buggy suddenly appears from Doraemon's pocket due to Shizuka crying, and goes straight into Poseidon, crashing and destroying both of them. With Poseidon destroyed, the iron guards stops working, allowing Shizuka and Doraemon to rescue the others and leave before the erupting volcano destroys the castle.
In a panic, the present Nobita (in future Nobita's body) and Doraemon search for future Nobita (in present Nobita's body). Future Nobita in the meantime, encounters Shizuka but gets into a fight with older bullies. Shizuka spots a comet approaching since they came there. Knights attack their base while the comet which they realize is the asteroid which killed off most of the dinosaurs hits earth causing a huge tsunami. The knights rush to the ship which is able to hide underground, while Doraemon blasts a tunnel underground to hide from Tsunami.
After days of not seeing Doraemon, Nobita assumes he went back to the future. Worse, after school, Gian and Suneo accuse him of lying about his trip, while Shizuka defends him. Completely stoic, Nobita uses the suitcase to show them the hotel, even though the staff is still nowhere to be seen. That evening, planes bomb and attack the group.
