Jawaharlal Nehru New College of Engineering or JNNCE is an engineering college established in 1980 by the National Education Society (NES) in Shimoga, Karnataka, India. It is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The 2019 NIRF ranking was released on 8 April 2019 in 9 categories: Overall, Universities, Engineering, Colleges, Management, Pharmacy, Medical, Architecture, and Law. The University College of Engineering Vizianagaram was established as a constituent college of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad in 2007. After the trifurcation of JNTU Hyderabad into three universities, the college has become the constituent college of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada in 2008.
