#1. For the past few months I have been having issues with my one touch meters. i had the Ultra 2 and finally insisted on it getting replaced with a different meter. They sent me more Ultra Smarts. I love my ultra smarts but had them replaced a million times in the past few months.

I picked up a ReliOn meter from Walmart mostly as a backup, but I soon came to experience something many of you know too well: inconstant results! Now, both meters tend to be pretty accurate in their own "range" so to speak, but the One Touch Ultra consistently runs 20ish points higher than the ReliOn.
I used a One Touch Ultra for 3 1/2 years . It does seem it takes a little more blood than other meters. Some of the tricks are to rub hands together to create some heat, wash under very hot water, move arms above head to get cirulation going.
