Ruel Vincent van Dijk (born 29 October 2002), [3] known mononymously as Ruel, is an Australian singer and songwriter from Sydney, best known for his singles "Don't Tell Me", "Younger", "As Long as You Care" and "Painkiller".
4th Wall is the debut studio album by Australian singer-songwriter Ruel, released on 3 March 2023.The album was announced on 25 January 2023. [4] [6]Inspired by Ruel's favourite films, primarily The Truman Show and Fight Club, the album "imagines Ruel finding out his entire life is a lie, being filmed for someone else's entertainment".
Free Time is the second extended play (EP) by Australian singer-songwriter Ruel. The EP was announced in July 2019 [4] and was released on 13 September 2019 through RCA Records. [5] "Painkiller" was released as the lead single on 30 April 2019.

"Younger" is a song recorded by Australian singer-songwriter Ruel and produced by M-Phazes. The song was released on 8 June 2018 as the third single from Ruel's debut extended play , Ready (2018). In October 2018, the song was certified gold in Australia; his first certification, [ 2 ] and platinum in March 2019.
"As Long as You Care" is a song by English born Australian singer-songwriter Ruel. The song was released on 11 September 2020 as the lead single from his third EP, Bright Lights, Red Eyes, which was announced on the same day. [1] A translucent orange 7" vinyl was released on 14 July 2021, limited to 150 copies for Record Store Day 2021. [2]
The music video was released on 8 August 2019—the same day as the song's release—and was directed by Grey Ghost. [3] [4] The video shows Ruel following a fictional French singer, ECÂF, breaking into her venue and eventually being kicked out. [1] At the end of the music video, during her performance, ECÂF's song "Pictures" was featured. [4]
