Imotsko Polje (lit. ' Field of Imotski ') is a polje (karstic field) located on the border of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina near the city of Imotski. The larger part is in Herzegovina, while the Croatian part is in the inner Dalmatia region, and is the second largest in the country, covering an area of 95 square kilometres (37 sq mi). [1]
It seems plausible that the density of 1s in the Kolakoski {1,2}-sequence is 1/2, but this conjecture remains unproved. [6] Václav Chvátal has proved that the upper density of 1s is less than 0.50084. [7] Nilsson has used the same method with far greater computational power to obtain the bound 0.500080. [8]
Summers are usually very hot during the day, temperature goes up to 40 °C. Temperatures above 10 °C (50 °F) last for more than 250 days a year. Two kinds of wind are common in the area - the northern to north-eastern bora , which usually brings cold and clear weather in winter, and the southern to south-eastern sirocco , which often brings rain.

Trebižat is 51 km long and is the second largest losing (sinking) stream in Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose waters drains into the underground and reappear several times at various locations, but as a river the Trebižat sinks only once as the Matica, in estavelle(s) at the southeastern edge of Imotsko Polje near Drinovci, and reappears again in Peć Mlini wellspring as the Tihaljina (later ...
The first four partial sums of the series 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + ⋯.The parabola is their smoothed asymptote; its y-intercept is −1/12. [1]The infinite series whose terms ...
In it, uniform blocks are stacked on top of each other to achieve the maximum sideways or lateral distance covered. The blocks are stacked 1/2, 1/4, 1/6, 1/8, 1/10, … distance sideways below the original block. This ensures that the center of gravity is just at the center of the structure so that it does not collapse.
