Replied on June 6, 2018. Report abuse. I think may actually be over thinking this one. Open up notepad. (Click start, type “notepad” and hit enter) Type the following: \\PrinterServerName\PrinterShareName. Click file, save as, and then save it as PrinterName.bat - changing it to all files instead of txt files as well.
Printer & Scanners -- add printer. Printer is found and added, but shows "driver unavailable." Go to Device Manager -- there are no "Printers" or "Print queues" categories, so there are literally no drivers here that I can update that way, and I can't add a driver because that option is grayed out until you select a category.
