All our files are in the public domain, which means we relinquish all rights to the files. So anyone may use them for any purpose, including commercial uses, such as selling on ebay. We do prefer that people acknowledge that these are LibriVox files, but we can't and don't enforce that (public domain means people don't have to acknowledge us).

As the audio book market explodes, a cottage industry of removing the Libravox disclaimers from recordings and posting them for sale on commercial sites has emerged. This is legal, since our works are in the public domain. It does however; discourage narrators from doing work here.

1. The main language of the forum is English. This means that most posts about LibriVox, questions about how it works, etc. should all be in English. The reason is that most of our moderators are English-speaking, and we need to be able to answer questions, and monitor what's going on on the forum.
