The Capt. John Foley Horr House is the historic residence of Captain John Foley Horr on the southern portion of Marco Island, Florida. It is located at the north side of Whiskey Creek Drive on Key Marco (formerly known as Horr's Island). Horr also established a citrus grove and pineapple plantation on the island.
Banpo is a Neolithic archaeological site located in the Yellow River valley, east of present-day Xi'an, China.Discovered in 1953 by Shi Xingbang, [1] the site represents the first phase of the Yangshao culture (c. 5000 – c. 3000 BCE) and features the remains of several well organized settlements—including Jiangzhai, which has been radiocarbon dated to c. 4700 – c. 3600 BCE).
The easternmost of the two bubble houses, painted yellow, received media attention in March 2012 because of its owner's proposal to replace it with a larger house. The historic structure was demolished to allow for the construction of the new house. (This was the easternmost bubble house located at 9096 SE Venus Street, Hobe Sound, Florida.)
It sits near the north end of Biscayne Bay and consists of two islands, originally known as Broadview and Bay Harbor, now referred to as, respectively, the West and East Islands. The West Island features single family homes, while the East Island contains the business district, the Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K–8 Center, and multi-family housing.

North Hutchinson Island is an Atlantic barrier island located on Florida's Treasure Coast approximately 110 miles (180 km) north of Fort Lauderdale. The island extends from the Sebastian Inlet on the north to the Fort Pierce Inlet on the south, and is about 28 miles (45 km) long. [1] It has an area of 23.86 square miles (61.8 km 2).
