Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. (ΚΦΛ also known as Kappas and KPL) is an Asian-interest sorority that was founded in 1995 at Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York. The sorority is represented at 34 schools with over 4,000 members nationally.
The names Aleph Yodh He and Zeta Phi Mu were retired in 1922, the organization taking the national name of Phi Lambda Kappa. [2] In 1924, the policy was changed to allow graduate members to hold national office. At the 1952 convention, the constitution was altered to make the fraternity non-sectarian.
Kappa Phi Lambda (ΚΦΛ) was an American collegiate fraternity.It was established in 1862 at Jefferson College and was dissolved in 1874. Kappa Phi Lambda is considered one of the members of the "Jefferson Triad" of fraternities founded at Jefferson College, with the other two being Phi Gamma Delta and Phi Kappa Psi. [1]
