  2. TaylorMade Shaft Adapter Compatibility - WRX Club Techs - GolfWRX

    1. Yes. 2. 10.5* - the labeling on the adapter assumes a 10* head. So if you're using a 10.5* head, just add 1/2* to the lofts labeled on the adapter. It will be no different from using a stock M4 adapter - the r1 adapter is only different in how it's labeled, not in how it works. 3.

  3. Which TaylorMade M-Series Driver? - Equipment - GolfWRX

The 2016 M2 is a great driver by any measure. A close to new one with the right shaft will easily be the value leader. IMO the M6 is the longest and most forgiving of the bunch. It also has great feel and sound. While you will pay a premium over the earlier models, you will likely have an easier time getting fitted since it’s a current model ...

  4. SIM Driver Warranty - Crown popped off - WRX Club Techs - GolfWRX

    forums.golfwrx.com/topic/1767550-sim-driver-warranty-crown-popped-off

This driver has a shallower face so probably shouldn't tee it up as high as my old driver but still coming over the top a bit can result in toe hits on the line. I guess enough of these caused the crown to completely pop off. Happened over the weekend on a big golf trip. Four rounds of golf with nothing but a 3 hybrid.

It’s funny, I also used TaylorMade drivers a lot during the last decade but didn’t use any of those listed by the OP. I started with the R9. Switched to the RBZ Stage 2. Then went to the 2016 M2 and now am at the 2020 SIM Max. The R9 was the hardest to hit. My swing had to be perfect to get anything out of it. The Stage2 and M2 were point ...

I hadn't realized the loft sleeve also also affected lie angle. So, let's say I want to add the maximum of 2* of loft to ...

  10. R11 vs current Taylormade Drivers (M1, & M2) - GolfWRX

    forums.golfwrx.com/topic/1290912-r11-vs-current-taylormade-drivers-m1-m2

Hey all, My current driver is an R11 which has to be 5 or 6 years old at this point. I'm wondering how my driver compares to current drivers on the market such as M1 or M2. I played in college and average probably 280 yards off the tee. I'm starting to think I'm missing out on distance and/or forgiveness with what Taylormade now has available.

Posted October 9, 2013. I've flip flopped between Taylormade and Titleist drivers over the last few years; 909 D2, R9 460, 910 D2, 910 D3, RBZ Tour and I just purchased a SLDR. IMO, you can't go wrong with either. And when the 914 comes out, I'm sure I'll give it a try.
