C. Joined: Feb 2013. Posts: 382. North Dallas, Texas. Purtis Creek State park fishing report September 16, 2023. We fished Purtis Creek and spent a lot of time looking and not a lot of time catching. Conditions were cloudy and overcast high of 85 water temperature was 83. Depths: We were fishing anywhere from 3 to 15 feet.

Sam Rayburn Fishing Report 7/31 #15148192 08/01/2408:12 PM. As of today, the lake is back on the rise. We got down around 4-foot-high last week, but with all the rain the lake has rose to a little over 5ft high to 169.67. the lake is still fishing pretty good for the water temperatures. You can still catch them about any way you want.
