I can't switch TV yet, one family member (the boss) won't give up the free Peacock and Netflix. And don't even get me started on the "free Peacock" because I went through the supposed steps to set that up and to this day I still can't get it on my computer. I'm using the Xfinity Stream app on an Amazon Fire TV that is connected with WiFi Internet. The tv does not need to be connected to an Xfinity home wi-fi network.
