The Buckey O'Neill Cabin (1897) is the oldest structure at the South Rim, individually listed on the NRHP. [7] The Lookout Studio (1914) is just to the west of the Bright Angel Lodge. Designed by Colter, the structure was originally known as "The Lookout," which is its primary purpose. The structure includes a small gift shop.
