Robert Roberts. Robert Roberts (April 8, 1839 – September 23, 1898) is the man generally considered to have continued the work of organising and establishing the Christadelphian movement founded by Dr. John Thomas. He was a prolific author and the editor of The Christadelphian magazine from 1864 to 1898.
He later returned his sons to Albany and went to New York City under the name Matthias and visited Elijah Pierson, a well known religious figure in Manhattan. [2] Along with Pierson, Matthews succeeded in convincing wealthy merchants Sylvester Mills and Benjamin Folger that he was the incarnation of God the Father.
