Simon John Binks [1] (born 27 November 1956, [2] [3] [4]) is an Australian rock musician who was a guitarist and singer-songwriter for Australian Crawl from founding in 1978 to disbanding in 1986. [ 5 ] [ 6 ] [ 7 ]
Born in Romford, Binks began his career with Leyton Orient, but failed to make a first team appearance for the club. He moved to Colchester United in 1972, where he made ten league appearances. [1] He made his league debut on 19 August 1972 in a 2–1 defeat to Hartlepool United. [2]
