ZeptoLab was founded in 1998 by self-taught twins Efim and Semyon Voinov, who have been making games since the age of ten. [6] Its name originates from “Zepto”, a math prefix meaning 10 −21, which was “meant to signify how truly boutique their operation was.” [7] ZeptoLab has not received any external funding to produce their games. The Gyrojet is a family of unique firearms developed in the 1960s named for the method of gyroscopically stabilizing its projectiles. Rather than inert bullets, Gyrojets fire small rockets called Microjets which have little recoil and do not require a heavy barrel or chamber to resist the pressure of the combustion gases.
