The Oregon State Beavers men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of Oregon State University and competes in the Pac-12 Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The team was founded in 1988 and has competed in 26 college soccer seasons since that time. [ 1 ]
Northeast United Soccer and Central Catholic High School baseball team also play at Hilken Community Stadium, since 2012. At the time of construction, the 1,000 seat stadium cost US$ 7.5 million. The field's turf is known as Nike Grind , which is made out of approximately six million recycled shoes. [ 1 ]
All Division I men's soccer programs are eligible to qualify for the tournament. 21 teams received automatic bids by winning their conference tournaments, one team received an automatic bid by claiming the conference regular season crown (the West Coast Conference does not hold a conference tournament), and an additional 26 teams earned at-large bids based on their regular season records.

The Timbers finished ninth in the Western Conference and won the Cascadia Cup. [2]
